内容摘要：

Every connected graph is a metric space with respect to its path distance. Hence, we can define interesting classes of graphs in terms of the properties of their metrics. One of the widely studied classes of such graphs is the class of partial cubes. A wider class of $\ell_1$-graphs was introduced by Deza and it will be in the focus of this talk. We review the known results and mention a few open problems.

Sergey Shpectorov，英国伯明翰大学数学系教授，博士，他的研究兴趣集中在代数、几何和组合学领域。其研究的核心主题是群的作用，涉及几何、图论、黎曼曲面，以及最近的轴向代数，这些代数构成了一个新颖且有趣的非结合结构类别，具有在物理学中的应用。 他还对纯粹几何和纯组合问题感兴趣，特别是图几何和建筑理论、代数图论和度量图论，包括部分立方体和具有良好度量性质的类似图。发表了一百多篇论文。
