内容摘要：

The global magnesium alloy market has grown steadily, driven by demand for lightweight structural components in transportation and 3C industries, as well as emerging applications in biodegradable metals, hydrogen storage, and battery materials. To expand these applications, advanced Mg alloys with improved formability, high strength, and enhanced fire and corrosion resistance are essential. Formability of Mg sheet is particularly critical for automotive body components such as doors, hoods, and decklids. In addition, improved non-flammability is required for applications in new energy vehicles, high-speed trains, and aerospace. This work presents fundamental studies on Mg sheet formability and the development of twin-roll casting (TRC) technology for producing wide sheets with enhanced formability and non-flammability, along with their potential applications.

主讲人介绍：

Kwang Seon Shin，男，1954年生，韩国国家工程院院士，韩国首尔国立大学教授，国际镁协会副会长、韩国镁技术研究协会会长、Journal of Magnesium and Alloys副主编，曾任韩国金属与材料学会会长、韩国首尔国立大学镁技术创新中心主任，多次担任镁合金国际会议大会联合主席，在国际学术会议上做大会报告和特邀报告100余次。获韩国科学技术振兴巨大贡献奖、韩国金属与材料学会特别贡献奖、国际镁科学技术终身成就奖等。
