In this talk, we will study the asymptotic behavior of the relativistic Boltzmann equation in the whole space, under the closed to equilibrium setting. In fact, we recognize the finite speed of propagation of the solution of the relativistic Boltzmann equation, which reflects the difference in essence between the relativistic Boltzmann equation and the classical Boltzmann equation.

主讲人介绍:

吴恭俭,台湾成功大学数学系教授,毕业于台湾新竹交通大学,英国剑桥大学博士后研究,主要研究方向为Boltzmann方程及Landau方程解的适定性及渐近行为。目前已在Archive for Rational Mechanics and Analysis、Communications in Mathematical Physics、SIAM Journal on Mathematical Analysis、Journal of Functional Analysis、Nonlinearity、Journal of Differential Equations、Journal of Statistical Physics等主流数学杂志发表学术论文。
